Year 7 Gallery

In Year 7 students are introduced to the main areas of Art and Design, i.e. drawing and painting, ceramics, textiles, printmaking, photography and ICT.

Year 8 Gallery

In Year 8 students build on knowledge and skills acquired in Year 7.

Year 9 Gallery

In year 9 students extend their knowledge and skills further still, sculpture is introduced.

Year 10 Gallery

In year 10 Students follow accredited courses – GCSE, Entry Level Certificate, AQA Unit Awards or in-house accreditation.

Year 11 Gallery

In year 11 Students continue to follow accredited courses – GCSE, Entry Level Certificate, AQA Unit Awards or in-house accreditation.

Extended Education Gallery

In extended education Arts and Enterprise work side by side with students making saleable artworks. Some students also study ceramics at Bury College.

Special Interest Gallery

This includes special event such as visiting artists, our annual Arts week, student’s examinations, exhibitions, examples of work from community links (e.g. St Bernadette’s, Bury EPRU etc). Also examples of community projects.

Silver Base Gallery

This gallery contains work from our students in Silver Base, all of whom are on the Austistic spectrum.

Elms Bank Art Gallery

This show our school Art Gallery which sells work done by our students and visiting artists. It is a place where some of our students can access the opportunity to improve their skills or working life in the from of work experience. It also displays our examination work in the month of June.

Celebrate with our students as we give special recognition to one student per term for a piece of artwork.
