About Elms Bank

Elms Bank Specialist Arts College caters for pupils with Statements of Special Educational Needs in the age range 11-19 years. The pupils have moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties/disabilities. Pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder are catered for at Key Stage 3.

Sportsmark Gold One of less than fifty schools in the country.

Elms Bank Value added = 1045 – in the Top 10% in the country. This is a measure of the progress pupils make whilst at the school Pupils at Elms Bank gained the highest value added score in Bury, scoring higher than the grammar schools and all the comprehensive schools.

Designated Healthy School for the last two years and winner of Healthy Schools Award.

Annual School Production Involved at least 50% of school population – Grease, Wizard of Oz.

Pathways Enterprise School

Part of new government initiative promoting Enterprise. Pupils have established companies to sell a variety of goods.
